Housing Repair Scams

We have been notified about housing repair scams, also known as “claim farming.”
In these scams, individuals or companies pressure tenants into making legal disrepair claims against their landlords, often using misleading promises, hidden fees, and aggressive tactics like cold calling, leaflets, or social media ads.
Allocations Policy Consultation – NOW CLOSED

EPIC currently allocates homes based on who has been on our waiting list for the longest time, without considering individual circumstances and the urgency of finding a home. This means that some applicants with a more urgent and pressing need of a home are waiting whilst others who may be adequately housed have been allocated a new home.

One crucial aspect of home safety is ensuring that combustible items are stored properly and away from your living spaces. Combustible materials can create significant fire hazards and understanding how to manage them can prevent fires from occurring.
EPIC becomes an accredited partner of ‘Stop Loan Sharks’

EPIC is delighted to announce that we are now an official accredited partner of the England Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT) known as ‘Stop Loan Sharks’. The IMLT is a national organisation, dedicated to investigating and prosecuting loan sharks and supporting borrowers.
