Following a thorough consultation period, our Board have approved a new Allocations Policy which will come into effect in April 2026. The main change to the policy is the introduction of a banding system which will allow us to consider individual circumstances and the urgency of finding a home. You can read the full policy here.
In line with these changes, we have made the decision to keep our waiting list suspended. Please read on to find out what this could mean for you.
I am already on your waiting list.
For now, we will continue to work from the current policy. However, in April 2026 we will be switching to a new system, and we will soon be asking everyone on our waiting list to complete a new form to enable us to determine which banding they fit in based on need. Please be assured though that the date of your application from your original application will be one that is used.
We will be sending you a link to the new form later this year so please look out for an email from us.
I registered my interest to be informed when the waiting list would re-open.
Unfortunately, at this time our waiting list for expressions of interest will be closed, and we are not accepting any new applications for housing. If you are still interested in being housed in the future, we recommend you follow us on Facebook and Instagram or regularly check our website where we will provide updates if we decide to re-open the waiting list.
We have also now closed the registration of interest form to enable us to manage the applications we already have.
I am an EPIC tenant
EPIC tenants can still apply for a transfer. The decision to keep the waiting list closed is for new tenants only.
The changes have been made because of the increasing pressure on social housing, and we believe this will ensure that the individuals and families who are in the most need are prioritised.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to provide us with feedback around the applications policy. All feedback received was considered and assisted the Board in making their final decision.
